Blythe Ludington

Blythe Ann Ludington, 66, of Paris, passed away at 6:37 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017, at Paris Community Hospital. She had worked at the former Arkay Plastics of Paris and later worked as a school bus driver for MSB Transportation.

Services celebrating her life are 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at Templeton Funeral Home. Burial follows in Edgar Cemetery. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Ludington was born Dec. 1, 1950, at Evansville, Ind., the daughter of the late Ennis and Margaret Oakley Bradley Sr. She married Paul E. Ludington Jr. Feb. 3, 1975, at Marshall, and he preceded her in death April 12, 1999.

Survivors include three daughters, Melissa Ludington (Mark Abernathy) of Kansas, Cassie Ludington (Robert Cottrell) of Paris and Jessica Ludington (Herman Taylor Jr.) of Paris; four brothers, Butch (Vicki) Bradley of Henderson, Ky., Pat (Peggy) Bradley of Paris, Gerald (Shannon) Bradley of Newburgh, Ind., and Brian (Melissa) Bradley of Paris; two sisters, Inez (Bob) Meeks of Francisco, Ind., and Cheryl Bradley of Ashmore; eight grandchildren, Leah Breneman, Triston Cline, Dalton Ludington, Damon Cline, Danica Abernathy, Danielle Ludington, Keely Ludington and Logan Ludington; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Wayne Ludington; and a brother, Kevin Bradley.

Mrs. Ludington will be remembered as a free spirit; a proud, loving, and devoted mother and grandmother, who was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Edgar County Humane Association.
