MARSHALL – Omer T. Shawler, 91, of Marshall, passed away Feb. 17, 2018, at the Wabash Valley Hospice.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. Augustine Koomson as celebrant. Burial follows in Marshall Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28, at the church, with a recitation of the rosary at 7p.m. Another visitation follows from 7 to 9:45 a.m. at Pearce Funeral Home prior to the funeral Mass at the church.
Memorial donations may be made to the maintenance fund of the Marshall Cemetery Fund or the Marshall Community Pool Fund.
