Jack Bellinger

Jack W. Bellinger, 93, of Marshall, and formerly of Paris, Kansas and Casey, passed away at 12:59 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at Paris Healthcare Center. He was an insurance and real estate agent.

Following cremation, a memorial service is 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home. Visitation is from 1 p.m. until the service time Feb. 16 at the funeral home.

Mr. Bellinger was born Oct. 13, 1924, at Chicago, the son of the late George Edward and Gladys Shaffer Bellinger. He married Patricia Ann Tolliver, and she preceded him in death. He then married Patricia Metcalf, and she survives.

Other survivors include three children, Kathryn (Tim) Bellinger Troll of Commerce, Ga., Sharon (Albert) Bellinger Liles of Taylor, Texas, and John Marc (Cheryl) Bellinger of Elk Grove Village; six stepchildren, Pam (Tim) ClenDening of Nashville, Tenn., Tim (Sherry) Hibschman of Columbus, Ind., Jeff (Ellen) Hibschman of Avon, Ind., Mitch (Sandy) Hibschman of Casey, Karla (Tom) Geisse of Indianapolis, Ind., and Shannon (Doug) Bradley of Urbana; three grandchildren; 19 step-grandchildren; and 17 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Bellinger; a grandson, Eric Bellinger; a brother, George Bellinger; and a sister, Mary Lou Lyman.

Mr. Bellinger was a United States Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
