MARSHALL – Randall J. Davison, 55, of Marshall, passed away 4:26 p.m., Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Ind. He was employed as the purchasing agent at LAYCO of Marshall and was an area farmer.
Services honoring his life are 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at Pearce Funeral Home, with Pastor Danny Harper officiating. Burial is in Ohio Cemetery, rural West Union. Visitation is after 7 a.m. until the service time Friday at the funeral home, with the family present for the visitation after 11 a.m. A time of fellowship and a meal at the First Christian Church follows burial.
Mr. Davison was born Nov. 14, 1960, at Paris, the son of Laymon J. and Sharon Parcel Davison. He married Deborah Newell Aug. 19, 1995, at Marshall, and she survives.
He is also survived by his children, Bridget (Josh) Martin, Bonnie (Jake) Daugherty both of Terre Haute, Ind., Craig (Sarah) Martin and Brittney Davison, both of Marshall; grandchildren, Madison Martin, Shane Martin, William Martin, Jerry Cuffle, Dawson Cuffle, Liam Daugherty, Alana Daugherty, Abigail Martin, Alison Martin and Caleb Martin; his parents of Marshall; a brother, Scotty (Carolyn) Davison of Annapolis; a sister, Lynita (Steve) Decker of Marshall; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Morgan Cuffle.
Mr. Davison was a member of the Melrose Church of God. He was active in the community with the Clark County 4-H Foundation and had served many years and was still a member of the Martinsville School Board.
He loved to fish, hunt, camp and sit around a campfire and was a member of the National Rifle Association. Most importantly, he was proud of his grandchildren.
