
Kenneth H. Neal, 79, of Terre Haute, Ind., and formerly of Kansas and Paris, died Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at Meadows Manor North. He was well known in Illinois and Indiana, after working in petroleum sales and maintenance for more than 35 years.
The family chose cremation with services scheduled for a later date. Greiner Funeral Home of Terre Haute, Ind., is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Neal was born April 5, 1937, at Kansas, the son of the late Paul J. and Blanche Neal. He married Norma Walker of Paris Aug. 31, 1957, at Paris, and she survives.
Also surviving are three sons, K. David Neal of Paris, Barry Neal of Indianapolis, Ind., and Roger (Kathy) Neal of West Lafayette, Ind.; a brother, Jim Neal of Mattoon; three grandchildren, Heather Butler, Kelsie Neal and Dara Neal; a great-grandchild, Brody Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John “Bud” Neal; and a sister, Norma Jean Bishop of Kansas.
Mr. Neal was in ill health for several months prior to his death.
