
MARTINSVILLE – Lucille Gladys Reynolds, 81, of Martinsville, passed away at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at her home. She was a homemaker.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 4, at the Greenwell Funeral Home, with Pastors Art Orndorff and Rusty Engler officiating. Burial is in the Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at the funeral home
Mrs. Reynolds was born June 20, 1935, in Marion County, the daughter of the late Hanner Pulver and Mary Catherine Deadmond Pulver. She married William Harold “Bill” Reynolds Sept. 12, 1952, and he passed away May 28, 2003.
Survivors include her sons, William Michael (Terri) Reynolds of West Union, Steven Lee (Vicki Jean) Reynolds of Martinsville and Robert Brian (Teresa) Reynolds of Martinsville; daughters, Karen Fay Sloan of Casey and Rebecca (Richard) Branson of Martinsville; grandchildren, John Sloan, Bobbi (Brent) Layton, William Joshua (Sami) Reynolds, Megan Reynolds, Steven Keith (Desi) Reynolds, Nathan Reynolds, Toby Reynolds, Taylor Reynolds, Tyler Reynolds, Garrett Branson and Colin Branson; and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Lloyd and Roy Pulver; sisters, Mary Pulver and Vivian Bright; and son-in-law, John Sloan.
Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed cooking and attending ball games. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Martinsville Blue Streak fan. She adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them and attending their many activities.
