Kenneth Eugene Atkins, 102, of Paris passed away at 4 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018, at Paris Healthcare Center.
A private graveside service is in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Public visitation is 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home.
Mr. Atkins was born March 17, 1916, at Paris, the son of the late Melvin V. and Ona F. Elkins Atkins. He married Ruth Georgene Campbell Atkins June 11, 1938, in Edgar County, and she passed away Aug. 2, 2006.
Survivors include a daughter Sally Jo (Skip) Adams of Paris; two grandchildren, Amy Da Silva of Paris and Jeff (Tasha) Da Silva of Cottonwood, Calif.; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Emma Jane Winkler and Ethel Fiorello; and two infant brothers, Allen and Fred Atkins.
